I agree with Dave P. the Epiphany is by far one of the better Petite i have had in awhile.
My favorites have been David Fulton and Stanton Petite Sirah. For value I'd go with David Bruce and Bogle.
Earthquake Petite Sirah is pretty good just like their entire lineup of cabs, zins, and syrahs. Overall, pretty damn good for $27.

Thanks for your message. I've been in Australia for the past 2 months visiting family, but am back in CA now and looking to get moving on a Rob Gibson Wine tasting with the Young Wino's of SD.
The dates I'm thinking of for the SD chapter are Friday the 26th of Feb or Friday the 5th of March. Let me know what you think and how you'd like to proceed.
