Wine, Chocolate, and Terroir Tasting

Join us for an in-depth, sit-down class, that will awaken your taste buds. First we will explore wines from Southern France and examine how the environment affects the wines from this region, featuring the wines of artisan winemaker Sylvain Fadat. We will be pouring 4 reds and offer a few "surprise wines". Taste the wines from this rugged land, with terrain not dissimilar to that of Southern California. Wally will be leading the discussion and tasting which will include cheese paired with each wine. The second half of the class will feature a chocolate tasting focusing on single origin chocolates. This is Terry's domain, she will go over the process of growing and making chocolate as well as sampling some great chocolates from around the world.

This is all about what the French call terroir.

Seating is limited and advance purchase is recommended. $20 in advance, $25 at the door (if space allows) As always, this is going to be fun!
