Six bottles of Ventana = a perfect start to the weekend

Yes, that's correct, the weekend starts on Thursday.

Come out and join the LA Winos on Thursday night as we taste through six bottles recently sent our way by the good people at Ventana Vineyards. Included in the tasting will be the following six bottles from Monterey and Arroyo Seco:

--the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc
--the 2007 Gewurztraminer
--the 2007 Riesling
--the 2007 Chardonnay
--the 2006 Pinot Noir
--the 2006 Rubystone (Grenache/Syrah)

Following this lineup will be the usual array of cheeses, heated arguments, and additional random bottles.

Your donation of $10 cash money goes towards the purchase of the food items, any additional bottles that we open, and general Young Winos expenses. (Just think -- if you visited the winery, you'd easily expect to pay $10 to taste six bottles. Plus, you wouldn't get mad food and extra booze, and you wouldn't get to sit down!)

Admission will be limited to twelve Winos so that we can ensure that everyone will be able to get their healthy drink on. Therefore, please RSVP by noon on Wednesday the 8th if you want in!

We'll be gathering at Wino HQ in Sherman Oaks. To come drink with us, simply click on this link and fill out the form. Be sure to enter your full name, your e-mail address, and some message to let me know that you're down. Once you get your confirmation e-mail, you're good to go! Grab your $10 and hit the road.
